We have just returned from the Hotel Vennezia in Cattolica Italy and we did not want to leave the staff were all friendly and could not do enough for us,The food was great and the service was too, we will be definatly going back and have no problem recommending this hotel, I will give one warning though not the hotels fault the bar across the street likes to play music loudly so if you are not into that then look else where but again don't knock the hotel for it,

I have just arrived home after spending a week in the Venezia and I found it to be very pleasant. The staff there are very friendly. The rooms are quite basic but clean. The food was really nice. The hotel is in a great location, situated on the main street and 5 minutes from the beach. I would definitley go back to this hotel.

Owners very rude. Food choice is poor and more like school dinners, at least it seems that way when you see the owners treating some guests like infant school pupils. Younger members of staff very easy going and friendly. Rooms are basic but very clean. Tour operator claims this is a 3 star hotel (very optimistic), I would put it at 2 stars at best.

The people running this hotel were the worst we have ever stayed with, they were rude and unfriendly. It was the first time we have ever gone allocation on arrival, never again if this is an example of were they place you. When we asked if we could be moved we were told it would cost 400 pounds to move, and that is the only reason we stayed.

Helpful, Family Run Hotel

The family who own and run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The chef and owner of the hotel is the nonna (grandma) and all meals are home-cooked by her and the other chef, Adriano. The daughter, Rosanna, her husband Russell, and brother, Mauro, deal with the day to day running of the reception, bar and hotel in general and speak several languages, including English fluently. The two children, Richard and Marianna, help out behind the bar and also serve in the restaurant, as does cousin Daniele.
The hotel has fairly basic but accommodating, clean rooms and are equipped with safety deposit boxes and TV's. The location of the hotel is great, on one of the main pedestrian shopping streets and a three minute walk to the fountains in the centre of Cattolica.
All in all, the Hotel Venezia is a pleasant place to spend your holiday, no matter what age group you fall into.

Lots to do Great family place and couple's, loads to see and do, go to Venice, Rimmini. Richioni, aquarium, San Marino, Florence and the prom is great.
