We stayed there for a week with our children, our youngest was 6 years old. Italy is supposed to be family and children friendly well not this hotel they moan at adults and children alike. The food is terrible if you like small portions then this hotel is for you. The staff speak very little English. There is also a disco club that goes on all night until about 4 in the morning you can hear this all night depending on what side of the hotel your room is on. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. We have stayed in a few hotels in Italy in the past and this is the worst one so far. If you are looking for a friendly hotel that caters for families with children and good food look for another hotel as this hotel does not cater for any of the above. |

Be warned maybe they don’t allow kids under 8 but other tour opps do, and whilst I was there babies and infants upwards were staying at this hotel. the foods not great either, you help yourself to salad, which is then followed by a starter soup or pasta dish, then a main course, which was either a fish dish or meat depending on what you chose to order the day before. the main courses let it down more than anything else, if you ordered meat you got one slice and a handful of veg with it, then desert was offered, usually the same each night, fruit, crème caramel, panna cotta, or cake. All of which wasn’t enough to fill a child. The swimming pool is a nice area, but it’s freezing, the pool isn’t heated. The breakfast buffet was reasonable, continental. And the hotel was clean, towels changed every day. If you’re on a late flight home and you wish to keep your room on until pick up ... Read more |
