Appalling Youth Hostel

We have travelled extensively for 25 years, this is not a hotel - it is a very bad hostel. It is just someone's house. Its not nice. 1stly, our Room's advertised 'private' bathroom was 'not even in the room' - you have to walk down the hall to it, past all the other residents!, became
very embarassing for the ladies staying there.

2ndly the rooms are unbelieveably small, and filled with random framed very bad pictures (from magazines) from the seventies eg a faded tiger,
a muppet calendar from 1973, a magazine pic of
'someone' on holiday long ago - you have to see to believe.

3rdly you are also directly on top of the extremely busy
bus station - which operates very noisily from until 2:00am, then starts at 4:30am again.
You cannot sleep here, really.

I may be going a bit far now but even the orange and blue colour disco-ordination will probably also make you feel ill - its not a good place, and wasn't really cheap either
considering what it was, even for Europe.

Breakfast is also just simply an embarassment:
cold bad coffee, and a sugary inedible bun thing in a plastic bag - that's it!


However, the location is good, as it is obviously in the centre and close to buses,
if that appeals.
