Naples Alert There is a gang working on the No. 1 Tram which picks up at the Central Train Station in Naples and takes passangers to the Port for the Capri Ferry. Five of them surrounded us [we were four adults, two men and two women] as we tried to get on the tram. They tried three times to steal one of our parties wallet, by creating a crush and then a diversion. There were three while males and two black males involved in the gang. The white males created the diversion and the black chaps did the wallet snatching attempts. When we yelled thief and "get away" loudly, three of them jumped off the tram but two remained and tried a further diversion of saying someone had fainted further up the tram to distract us. It was a nightmare, as it was clearly well organised and we had been targetted at the bud stop. Friends in Capri told us Naples is now very dangerous for tourists and locals alike and it is not safe to either walk around or get on buses with bags or jewellery of any kind.

don't miss Go to anacapri -do not miss the chairlift -even if you are afraid of heights it is not scary -the view at the top is worth, it bring a book and relax up there for a few hours and have a coffee or a glass of wine at the top. It was so good we did it twice.

Da Giogio's Restaurant Great food and a great view. Waiters are very friendly. Prices are moderate, but fresh fish can be very expensive, as most restaurants.
