Trek to hotel
We thought this hotel was sub-standard and definitely NOT a 4 star. It's a very 80's style hotel that is badly in need of a refit!. There was no tea or coffee making facilities or a safe. It was a 40 minute bus journey each way but luckily the buses (when they're not striking) are fairly frequent. The breakfast was ok, just about ok. I would not recommend this hotel for a holiday, only for business travellers.

DEFINATELY NOT 4 STAR
Stayed here July 05. Pool & pool area not cleaned in 9 days we stayed there. American bar non existant. Rooms and reception dull dark & shabby. No disco or piano bar unless you played yourself. Food not up to normal Italian standard. Definately a no no. Dont book this hotel. Waste of our hard earned money.

OK for traveling salesmen
This was 2 years ago so things might have improved. Reception and rooms were fine, clean, resonably sized and well appointed although the air conditioning was a bit noisy and not very effective. Pool and terrace were very seedy and tired! Hotel is some way out of Bologna but even so we would not recommend eating in the hotel. Restaurant service and food quality was simply appauling.
