Top Local Tips for Bassano Del Grappa

Great little bar Head to Le Colone on the edge of the main Piazza, to sit back and sip on a "Bitter Spritz" (mix of white wine, Campari or Aperol or both and soda water) to people watch. The people in Bassano are elegant and sophisticated and we did not see one unattractive person! The whole town is made up of beautful people! Ladies behind the bar are friendly (more so with the men) but happy to explain what the local's are drinking. Great to sit at the bar with a bowl of nuts and watch the comings and goings. Peak time was from 6.30pm when it started to get busy with the after work rush. Be careful when ordering, if the guy orders a beer, you are likely to get two just because you didnt order both drinks at the same time!
