A week in Bardolino, bed and breakfast for £250 so no major criticisms. Room was small but very clea,n but wet room didn't really work properly (water went everywhere). Breakfast was excellent and the bar very cheap too!

We stayed at the Vittoria in July last year. It was our first trip to Bardolino and we fell in love with it. The hotel is in a good position - near to both the centre - a 5 minute walk away - and just two minutes walk from the bus stop. The down side is that the hotel is near a busy road and there is slight traffic noise so we weren't able to sleep with the window open but as there was a fan in the room it didnt bother us too much. Although our room did not have its own balcony there is a large communal balcony(about the size of our room!)on each floor with comfortable chairs and loungers where you could sunbathe or chill out in the evening with a glass of beer/wine. Our bathroom/wetroom was a good size and both the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. We thought the breakfast was very good - the omlettes and cakes were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget looking for a clean comfortable place to stay.

Staff on reception very helpful. We only booked bed and breakfast, which was continental and substantial. The hotel did advertise as a restaurant but this was not so. Also, it could do with air-conditioning

Only good thing was the breakfast; our rooms were very small and dirty!!!! Thank god we only had to stay for two nights!!!! Lousy bathroom!!!!!

Top Local Tips for Bardolino

Venice, Verona and Milan day trips. Rather than pay for the arranged excursions get the local bus (runs every 30 mins) to Pesciera Del Garda train station (takes 15 mins). Then jump on a train to either milan or venice (1 hour) and pay a fraction of the cost and discover the cities yourself. The local bus takes you all the way to Verona (40 mins) its the last stop and they are all easy to find the bus stops and train stations on the way back.
