Having just returned from our first lakeside Italian holiday, we feel compelled to pay compliment to this excellent hotel. Having spent many wonderful summer holidays in quality establishments in the Austrian Alps, we noticed Villa Letizia on-line as a late availability offer and decided to give it a try. We have to say that the hotel, resort and whole area in general surpassed any of our preconceptions or expectations, rewarding us with a truly wonderful break. The Hotel is perfectly located a few minutes' stroll along the promenade from Bardolino's captivating centre. Its contemporary, understated facade blends effortlessly with its surroundings and this ambience extends to inwards to the efficient, stylish calm of the communal areas and bedrooms which are modern and spotlessly clean. Although we didn't book a lake-facing room, we were delighted to find we had been allocated a balcony room on the side of the property which afforded us stunning views across the lake which was a real bonus. The bedroom was well sized with ample space for clothing, a fridge and a good sized flat screen TV. The shower room was actually a wet room with no awkward shower cubicles or raised shower tray to negotiate, which would be a real bonus to anyone with mobility issues. The staff, without exception, were excellent, giving professional, friendly service at all times. The continental breakfast buffet was always well stocked with everything you would expect to be served while evening meals always offered variety, spread over four courses with a wide variety of accompanying wines on offer. The service was prompt and fare always tasty and plentiful. Taking all of this into account, along with wonderful weather and an abundance of beautiful and charismatic towns we visited around the shoreline, we have no hesitation in heartily recommending this hotel.

I booked two rooms here for them to be cancelled without explanation. Terrible way to treat your customers
