Amazing Holiday!

Me and my family went to the Parc hotel for 2 weeks and had the best time ever! It is such a great resort, all of the rooms are clean, the food is great, and it about a 5 minute walk to get into the town of Bardolino. There were loads of activities available for the children to do, and with it been a hotel, there are also English people there, so we made loads of friends. People have been complaining about a waitresss in the outside bar, but she was lovely to me, and if you are not rude and miserable to her, she is lovely back. I also thought that it was a great idea for Tea and Cakes to be served every day at 4 o'clock!! I had the best ever and will certainly visit again!

My parents had a terrible time at this hotel only last week. Reception staff haughty and dismissive, Maitre D' downright unpleasant, buffet meals like feeding time at the zoo.

Certainly the best hotel in Bardolino. Location excellent, facilities excellent, service excellent, staff excellent, food excellent.
I suffer from Coeliac Disease, an intolerance to gluten found in wheat, oats, barley & rye. The staff do everything they can to ensure I enjoy my stay and I cannot thank them enough. My wife and I will certainly be returning next year for out 12th holiday there.

We spent a delightful week last year at your hotel. The entertainment, service, staff and the room were excellent and we certainly intend to return this summer 2007. Everywhere was spotlessley clean including the pool and surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Dreadful service and unclean accommodation.

The whole hotel was shabby, rooms were awful, fire alarms and bare wires hanging off all the corridor walls. Hotel room towels were supposed to be white however were a shade of grey. Rooms smelt of stale uncleanliness and were never thoroughly cleaned. Food atrocious, stale cakes and biscuits at breakfast, runny scrambled eggs, fatty raw bacon. Meal times were like rugby scrums and felt like a cheap holiday camp. No hot water for baths and showers every evening. Pictures in brochure must be at least 20 years old, would not recommend this hotel at all. Location brilliant hotel dreadful.

Vegetarians are not catered for at this hotel. There was no vegetarian option for the main course, and soups based on meat stock.

Brilliant hotel with absolutely amazing surroundings and with the pool overlooking Lake Garda. Excellent food with a vaiety of choice for the evening meals. Plenty of entertainment at night as well as first class waiter service from the pool bar and restaurant. Overall you couldn't find a better hotel to stay at in Bardolino than the 4* Parc Gritti!

Top Local Tips for Bardolino

Ferry transport Make sure you familiarise yourself with "How to read the Ferry Timetable". These are not straight forwards to read and can cause some confusion, so it's worth spending a little time understanding the timetable layout. Oh, and make sure you buy your Ferry ticket at least 10 minutes or so before departure as the ticket offices tend to close as soon as a Ferry comes into sight. That's because the ticket seller also operates the walk on, walk off gantry and closes the ticket office so that he can be waiting for the Ferry to dock.

Restaurants The restaurant La Porta had good food, reasonable prices, and a great outdoor atmosphere. There was a fantastic Ice Cream place by the lake.

Go to town Spend your time in Bardolino town which is excellent for people watching, having fun and just generally lively and friendly.
