| Wonderful original design hotel |
| The hotel has a wonderful location in Bardolino and has a warm colour design!! The atmosphere, the colours and the details are unique we never find in the world a Hotel like this!!!!
Only five minutes walk from the centre and the lake shore. The interiors, the reception area, the blu bar, bamboo bar and the new pool lounge are fantastic and we felt immediately at home here. The rooms and the suite are tastefully furnished with armonius colour. The pool and gardens with lush palm tree, olive tree and colourful Olendri are immaculately kept .There was never a problem with lack of sunloungers or umbrellas. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a wonderful new bathroom.
The most impressive thing about the Color Hotel, however is the service. The receptionists, chambermaids, bar and restaurant staff all provide a very high level of courteous, attentive service which one would only expect to receive in a much more expensive establishment! We were pampered all week - nothing was too much trouble and the food was superb. The Color is not Bardolino's biggest hotel but it is for us, obviously one of its best kept secrets.
We saved money and we'd got better rooms with booking our accommodation direct with the hotel via the internet. This was easy to do, as all the receptionists speak excellent English, German, Dutch, Spanish at Italian of course! The hotel also booked our taxi or limousine (wonderful experience) from Verona airport straight to the hotel at a very good rate (they give transfer service from all Nord Italian airport). I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. |
