It is certainly a very nice hotel; very kind personnel both at the reception and at the restaurant. A little more care should be dedicated to the fact that it is a very famous hotel in Italy and should therefore be treated differently from the others pertaining to the Sheraton Group.

Top Local Tips for Asolo

Check out the pizzaria in town There is a very busy pizzaria in town called the Cornaro...excellent pastas, especially the linguini ala vongole -- with clam sauce. We ate there twice and wish we had gone more!! Skip the Hosteria Ca'Derton if the hotel recommends it. Very haute cuisine...not very flavorful...and very expensive.

Driving to Asolo To get to Asolo you only take the expressway for part of the way, and then a more local roads (that sometimes feels like one-way - very narrow!) thru various towns. Be sure to ask for a good map and landmarkers. There is limited parking in town, but I think people come in for an hour and leave, so spaces seem to free up without problems. If you stay the night, be sure the hotel provides parking.
