| A great hotel |
|
From the moment we arrived and were greeted by owner Oresti Curi we were made to feel most welcome at this family run hotel. The hotel is on top of a hill overlooking the town of Amandola. The rooms are simple, but spotlessly clean and the view of the Sibillini mountains from the balcony is breathtaking. Dinners are regional and superbly cooked. Although there are only very few staff, the service is excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Oresti always made sure we knew the best places in the area to visit and how to get there. The area itself is delightful, with many hill top towns and villages and beautiful drives (or walks) through the mountains. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Italy and also one of the best and most unspoilt areas where you can still see the real Italy. |
