Acqui Terme : hot sulphur springs Since the Roman times is Acqui Terme famous for the hot sulphur springs. It's also a real Italian city, still not too much tourists, but I'm afraid this won't last. The surroundings are also worth a visit: hills with magnificent views on the alps, meadows, vineyards, hazelnut trees, ... it's the real Italian countryside, uncontaminated by mass tourism, but not less interesting or beautiful then Tuscany.
