Very pleasent experience

Staying at O'Shea's Hotel was a very pleasent experience.the location is superb -Righ on the beach- ideal for a morning run or if like me for an afternoon stroll. The hoel is an olde worlde hotel - but with up to the minute facilities. The Restaurant - where breakfast was served is a fine size and the waitresses were friendly informative and seem to enjoy interacting with the guests. They seem to have two bars The main bar serves food and allows families, whereas the small Slip Inn Pub catered for adults it has a smoking area - suited my wife! and there seemed to be lots of locals drinking there. We had a great time in O'Shea's we actualy extented our stay by two night - as my wife said when you find a gem why move elsewhere.

Great location by the sea When you get in in the evening take advantage of the location... go for a walk or run on the beach.Go into the Slip Inn Pub attached to the hotel, you will meet the locals and find out whos who & where to go & where to eat etc.

Stay in a real Family run hotel Ask for a quiter room for Saturday NIght, use the Hotel Restaurant - not at all loike your regular hotel Restaurant - their seafood selection is fantastic
