This is what heaven looks like!from A TripAdvisor Member
I had one of the best birthdays there and all the ice cream I could eat!
All the staff are tremendous and everything is perfected down to the last detail!
The meals are absolutly fabulous and the fish is unreal!
I'd choose here quicker than a holiday abroad!
This is what heaven looks like!
Like a school report - could do betterfrom A TripAdvisor Member
The breakfast was fine, the lunch passable, the afternoon tea overrated and the dinner disappointing.
Warning - book early prior to staying for use of the spa as not all guests can be accommodated.
Warning - be prepared for guests walking and lounging around in sad, dated & flimsy hotel dressing gowns.
Warning - although indoors be prepared for guests staking claim to sofa's and lounging chairs !
Positive - staff are friendly.
Positive - fine and extensive wine selection if you have deep pockets.

The Dining Room staff are so friendly and the food is just superb.
The facilities are such that the car remains in the car park for the duration of our stay - walking, swiming, especially the Canadian Hot Tub on a cold day and a visit to the new Sea Spa are recommended.
We can thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants a holiday for relaxation and spoiling.

a. did not carry out much prior research into Rosslare and Kellys as a destination - if they had they would have known what to expect - Kellys is a family destination
b. seems to enjoy complaining for the sake of it
We travel 5 hours every trip to Kellys and would frequent it at least 2-3 times per year
The staff could not do enough for you - I can refute the fact that you are not given any help with luggage - as when we took our 3 month daughter in November we were given more than enough assistance both in to and exiting the hotel. Reception are more than willing to assist you with any queries.
Kellys is a slick well run family hotel for family breaks and for couples alike - The food is of any 4 star hotel quality and the fact that you can have a less formal dining experience for lunch is a great option for those that dont want the full 4 course lunch
I cannot commend this hotel highly enough
Great if you enjoy Shoddy Service, Bad Food and Children Running Wildfrom A TripAdvisor Member
1. The Staff, esp Reception are rude, and have no concept of customer service. When I called to book my stay the reception staff greet you in an abrupt impolite manner and give you the impression that your very call is an inconvenience. On arrival at the hotel, after a long journey, laden with bags as the hotel car park is across the road, the bell boy iognored my feeble attempts to push open the door and didn't make onw move to help. I was "greeted", or rther grunted at by a grumpy rude woman at reception who then informs me that the promised sea view is not possible, and that it cant be helped.
2. The food is terrible
As most packages to the hotel are all inclusive, the hotel makes the most of this opportunity to provide cheap bad quality food- main courses were absolutely foul-cold meat dishes were smothered in sauces or "jus"!!. With which you are served yellow broccoli, and cold mashed potatoes.
3.Rooms are plain, no mini-bar, nothing special. The Bathroom floor in my room was dirty.
4. Children run amok through the hotel all day and night. Parents seems to take to the bar and allow their offspring to run races up and down every corridor at all times of the day and night.
5. The spa is small, average, and only available for 1hr prior to an expensive treatment.
6.Management dont care if you have a complaint. after one complaint (about food)we gave up.....the also forgot our newspaper order and a host of other small mistakes that proved annoying.
7. Rosslare is a pretty unspectacular destination in iteslf.
My advice, save your money. There are many nicer hotels throughout Ireland offering spectacularly better service and amenities.

Food is excellent & no request is ever too much trouble for the staff.
The newly opened ESPA sea spa is a real luxury complete with relaxation area. Treatments are carried out by friendly professional staff and are reasonably priced.
If you decide to stay request a Junior Suite - more spacious than ordinary bedrooms & furnished of the best.
To experience Kellys you really have to visit.
Great Service, Food, Facilities and Locationfrom A TripAdvisor Member
Kellys Hotel is located right on Rosslare beach and close to the train station, ferry terminal and N11 route. I have stayed there several times with friends and have always enjoyed it. For me Kelly's is a treat.
The staff are friendly and informal. They go out of their way to please. Mr Kelly and his wife seem to have built up a well trained and professional team. They are competent, efficient and helpful. They seem to work like a well oiled machine making your stay an absolute pleasure from your first arrival to reluctant departure. It is a treat to stay there at any time - in front a blazing fire with your feet up, reading a good book or relaxing in the new Spa centre. There is always plenty to do to find enjoyment and rest.
The leisure facilities are excellent also and you can check them out on their website. The last time I was there for a week and stayed in the O'Malley Suite. It is a fine room with excellent seaviews in both directions. The standard rooms are good also. Make sure to ask for a seaview!
The food is first rate in terms of quality, freshness and presentation. I love their freshly squezed orange juice in the mornings. All meals are included in their rates incidently. The afternoon tea is a particular treat also - those fresh cream cakes are a delight.
I have stayed in several Hotels of all kind in Ireland and abroad both on business and on holiday over 20 years now and Kellys rates as my favourite! I hope to return again in November - I will be counting down the days! You will not be dissappointed at Kelly's, I reckon. The only problem is trying to get a booking!!!

best hotel in Ireland by far !! Worth travelling to stay herefrom troon_lass
The facilities are second to none with excellent provision for children of all ages. Very casual wear during the day, but more formal at night in the dining room. Eating at Kellys is an experience in itself. From breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, to the highlight, dinner (all included in the price) The food is world famous, I doubt if any leaves without a "Kelly Belly". We cannot think of any family, or friends, of any age who would not enjoy this hotel. I think that speaks for itself!
