The Ballynahinch Castle hotel is the perfect way to experience Connemara. You can start your day with a morning walk through amazing grounds right out your door, then have breakfast fireside downstairs or in your room, & in 15-20 mintues you can drive to Clifden or Roundstone villages for authentic shopping, pubs & traditional music, but you may have to stop for the sheep along the way. We enjoyed our stay at Ballynahinch so much we are already planning another trip so we can bring friends to stay there with us. The staff is great - very welcoming, helpful to any questions or requests & very personable. The rooms and public spaces of the hotel are beautifully done with antiques and details that cannot be replicated. A wonderful experience.
