Where do I begin? Rude and incompetent staff. Frozen food food served as fresh. Phone in room didn't work. Ordered and paid for a large whiskey - served a small one - had to challenge barman. No feeling of welcome and interest in guest's wellbeing. An enormously disappointing experience in a lovely town.

Golden Gates Definetly head here if it is fine. Nice nad peaceful for a walk!

Very picturesque and clean town! Very scenic town with beautiful lakes, national parks, old houses and castles and mountains. Very clean place - won Ireland's Tidiest Town Competition. From Killarney head out to Muckross Park for a day's hiking! Book accommodation in advance as can be pricey and non-existent if you're there in peak tourist season (summer).
