Absolutely super hotel and staff

We have just had a wonderful 4 nights here, where the staff were friendsly and efficient and could not do enough fo us.Rooms comfortable and spacious and spotless .Because the food was good ( and plentiful!)we eat in every night something we normally do not do.We definatley will return and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel .

Just returned from a wonderful 5 days. Was a bit worried about the reveiws but know need,the staff were very helpful and friendly from recption to the bar staff. Breakfast was lovely all freshly cooked. and if you needed anything that was not there the staff was only to pleased to help. We had a corner room over looking the river and the most beuatiful veiw. The room was clean with clean towels and sheets everyday. The bathroom could of been a bit modern, but it was clean and the water was very hot. We had a very relaxing time, the garden is very beuatiful which is on the river a sight to see. Very quite at night and during the day as it is set in a lane with know traffic. only a horse in the feild oppistie. We took a trip on the river Shannon which again is a site to see. Would love to return to this warm Irish welcome.

When I enventually got service in the bar I was given my drink in a glass with fresh lipstick stains on it - obviously a return from another customer. The pool area was filthy. The chlorine smell from the pool area was breathtaking in all the wrong way. The rooms were tiny, smelt of smoke and the bins werent emptied. The staff were rude and impatient.We requested a late departure and were phoned several times between 10-11AM to see if we were ready to leave yet. We gave up and left after 11.
