Top Local Tips for Killaloe
eating out Both Crotty's and Flanagan's are too be recommended for dining out. Crotty's is a cosy little pub with a choice of maybe 7 or 8 items per starter/main etc, but still hard deciding what to have, there were 4 in the party who all chose different plates each 1 excellent. Flanagan's steak house has an extensive menu with a special, again tough decisions, but we all enjoyed our chosen dishes. the death by chocolate 1 is to die for. Also we ate in Derg House coffee shop at lunch time, this was also a wonderful experience, don't walk by!
One lane bridge Expect to need extra time to get over the one-lane bridge. The wait can be up to 20 minutes or more.
