Very rude manager

We didn't stay at this hotel but we were treated rudely by the manager on staff. Our car broke down outside of town and a towing company took us there to wait. In so many words, the manager said we needed to buy something or leave. Absolutely no concern for our predicament, just a worry that he "pays for the gas in the fireplace" and the "water in the bathroom". We're in tough economic times, but the slightest bit of compassion would have meant so much to us. Instead, we left with a horrible taste in our mouths. As we were told later on, the best road in Gort is the one leading out of it. Under absolutely no circumstances would I stay at this hotel or recommend it to others.

Talk about ambiance! Character and right in the town centre. Great food, non stop resident bar and the manager was just so casually helpfull. One of the rare hotels now that treats you like a friend staying over!
