Where do I start?

Booked online but when I arrived there was no record of the booking. I was given a double room (113) which had many problems.

It was 9.40pm on a Saturday night in the middle of the tourist season when I arrived after travelling 12 hours from Waterville in Co. Kerry during the day.

I wanted a sandwich or something more substantial but was told there was no chance of getting anything as the kitchen was closed. This was despite waitresses still working in the restaurant....

No internet access at all here and no mobile phone signals on any network.

The room was poor. Dirty carpet. Smoke alarm appeared to be sellotaped together. Main light did not work. Bedside light falling off the hinge it was on. Bed felt damp. Only 3 stations on TV. Poor bathroom.

When I went to pay I was not going to say anything but when asked why I was not staying for breakfast I simply let fly at the owner who was quite taken aback.

I am ashamed to be Irish and cant begin to think what visitors to our country think of this dive.

Very poor facilities.

A terrible hotel. Please avoid.

We had 5 rooms for a family reunion.
The rooms were more than adequate, but not fancy. Not as nice as some of the pricier bed and breakfasts we visited but still quite nice. Staff was fantastic and accomodating in every way. Breakfast was convenient and good. We only ate dinner once, but it was enjoyed. They have added a 9 hole golf course. The course is very nice... still new and not polished (only 9 holes) but the view is breathtaking and it was a steal at 15 Euros a round (they would let you play through twice).
