Little disappointing

My husband and myself spent two nights in the house hotel. It was a nice hotel but we were a little disappointed with a couple of things. The room was beautiful but quite small, the breakfast was lovely but the full fry was not freshly cooked as indicated. There was no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which we missed. The parking is free but very inconvenient. It is a public car park about two minutes walk away and there is nowhere convenient to drop off bags before you park. We thought it was very comfortable, as a five star hotel should be but could be improved.

March - showers! It rained! A lot. The tour guide advised that "if you can see the hills on the other side of Galway bay, it's going to rain. If you can't see them, it's raining!" That turned out to be very true! The House hotel has an umbrella in the wardrobe presumably as an essential item! But there are lots of pubs, shops and restaurants you can dodge into.
