The staff ar elively friendly and attentive. No complaints there. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Galway city. However, there are two serious problems with this hotel. Firstly, the rooms are disgustingly dirty. The one I stayed in had nasty stains on the walls, mildew on the sheets, and the side panel of the bath had been kicked in. Secondly, the locla bars/nightclubs do not close until 2AM so do not expect a moments sleep before that.
