Disgraceful staff

Whilst visiting the powerscourt arms for sunday lunch with 10 other people. I was initially impressed by the staff sorting us with a table so quickly. That said I was not impressed by the person serving us the meal with her quips. Upon completion of the average barfood meal, I then proceeded to the bar and paid for my meal along with some of the other groups. This was ok it was time to go. We were then out in the car park and the same person serving us followed us out and asked us did we forget to pay. The answer being no of course nothing to worry about. She the interegated us, Was it a man in a pink shirt you paid, was it a man in a black shirt was it a girl in a black shirt. I explained we paid and had the receipt in my pocket as a matter of a fact one of the other chaps took out one of the two receipts which paid for the entire meal. I was deeply angry and embarressed in front of my whole family and friends. But you know what they say each bad customer report will let at least 25 people know.

This was disgraceful behaviour and was highly embarrising for the powerscourt arms which had recently changed hands. I made a complaint to the restraunt manager in the pink shirt he apologised and that was the end of the matter.

Powerscourt Waterfall and Johnnie Foxes The children will have a ball at hte Powerscourt Waterfall (this is not located at Powerscourt House). There is a tremendous adventure play area which could easily keep your 4 - 16 yr olds occupied for a good hour. Also it's worth making your way up to Johnnie Foxes pub restaurant for fantastic food (above average price, but well worth it) and a fascinating interior. CAn be packed with tourists at night so lunch is a good choice for families. Maybe even book ahead!
