On arrival we were allocated an upstairs bedroom, as my husband is disabled we asked if there was a lift, and the retort was "we don't have a lift", I then asked for assistance to carry our luggage to the room and was promptly told "no". When we came back downstairs again we found that a member of staff was able to assist a young lady to her room. I will never stay in this travel lodge again, as I found the staff very rude and unhelpful.

Top Local Tips for Dublin
Swords Never went but the ever friendly taxi drivers all recommend Swords town. If you go to Dublin, use the buses not the taxis - very expensive!
Star Bar When staying at the Travelodge Dublin Airport awaiting your flight out of Ireland, visit the Star Bar in "downtown" Swords. Friendly, comfortable and airy watering hole where the local residents will pass the time with you.
Dublin Tours South Coast & Gardens Absolutely worth the money! Our tour guide kept us in stiches with his jokes and stories about the locations. That in itself made the 4 hrs 30 mins trip worth while. On the tour, travelers are introduced to the South Coast of Dublin. Upon leaving Dublin, you will go by Dun Laoghaire, a harbor that is believed to be Ireland's oldest town. Followed by Sandycove, another harbor where the James Joyce Museum is located. Next it's on to Dalkey where one can see two castles, Goat Castle and Archbold's Castle. Nice chance for photo ops... Next was a little town called Enniskerry and onto Powerscourt Gardens. There, we received free admission to the gardens which was rather lovely. The gardens themselves seemed to be in an Italian style with statues, fountains and very... ahem... GREEN grass. The last leg is a ride through Bray, in Northeast Wicklow, (we actually got to stop and walk around the beach here but I don't know if this is the norm), then back to Dublin. Great Tour!
