Top Local Tips for Dublin
Train from Donabate We took the train from Donabate station to Dublin City which was an easy and cost effective way of seeing the city.
See the coastline! Drive past Dublin and see the coastline to the south - beathtaking. Try Malahide (near hotel) for eating. You should get a car and travel about a bit - Hertz at the airport were excellent, good car and hassle free bookingin/return service.
great Italian restaurant I forget the name of it but there are only two restaurants in all of downtown Donabate. Go to the Italian one. Very impressive menu.

There are a few things the hotel need to change on there website.
The Hotel is quite far from the airport and very expensive. They have a shuttel but prefer not to use it.
It is not suitable to travellers who don't have a car. The closest train station is about a 30 minute walk. And they won't give lifts to the station. They will call a taxi but this costs.
Also they don't really tell you about the little Donnabate village. Its really lovely although its quite far.
We enjoyed our stay but feel the Hotel gave false information which resulted us having to spend lots of extra money.
