Absolutely awful

When I checked in the only room left was a smoking room even though I specified non smoking when booking. But worst of all, I was not informed that there was a night club on site and that the night club would play really loud music until 1am. I felt like I may as well have been in the nightclub, I didn't get any sleep. When I called the front desk I was informed by the staff that all of the rooms were subject to the same level of noise. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel at all. The decor was shabby too.

I was booked with my partner to stay in this hotel. We had prepaid and prebooked with a firm called HotelsRUs. When we arrived at the hotel after an early morning flight from Birmingham we were greeted with the sign "Hotel Closed til 2nd January". No phones were answered and HotelsRUs assisted that they "couldnt help us" so we effectively left completely stranded in Dublin without help or assistance. I would never book after to go to such a Shabbily run hotel who couldnt even be bothered to notify us.

Faulty Tower Reception Staff and Restaurant

The reception staff, one female in particular was totally unhelpful and seemed to get annoyed by every request and query. The food in the Leaf Restaurant was terrible, looked and tasted of boil-in-the-bag ready meals. The rooms were clean and we couldn't complain about anything in that area.
Basil Faulty could have been the the manager of this hotel as regards everything else.
