Well I stayed in the Sunnybank in March and had a fantastic time. The staff are great. Martin, the manager is so funny, and Stephen. All the staff make u feel so welcome. I would recommend it to anybody to stay there, u will have the time of your life. Thanks guys, see u in October.

We only spent one night. it was plenty. Reception was fine. The staff on duty were very nice and booked in quickly. Unfortunately the room was deplorable. We are small people but we couldnt access the sides of the bed. We had to climb in from the bottom. I had to leave my socks on all night in case I got up to go to the loo the carpet was so dirty. The stain inside the door looked like puke. Shower was not an option. Lamps screwed to the shelf behind bed. only one bulb. Sad place. Bar on saturday night was like Shameless as my friend said. Apt.
Absolutely Fantastic

I would recommend the Sunnybank for a fantastic taste of Dublin! The staff and regulars make you feel great. Thanks to all staff or making our stay the best! The only problem I found was that if you want to see anymore of Dublin then don't stay here because you simply won't leave the hotel! Thanks again for making my birthbay the best ever and hope to see you soon. xx

Sunny Bank Hotel Lounge was recommended by our B&B Hostess for a great place to listen to Traditional Irish Music on the Monday night session. We had the BEST evening of our whole stay while in Ireland at that Pub. The music was EXCELLENT and the "regulars" of the Pub WELCOMED us as if we were locals. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and when we return in 2010 we definitely will stop by there again.
What a hole

I thought the Sunnybank would be cheap and cheerful, instead it was the most rank and disgusting place i have ever stayed. The rooms are damp and smelly with stains of some sort sprayed all over the walls. there was no hot water and the shower was covered in mold. The breakfast was horrible and microwaved. Afterabout 3am the bar turns into a scene from Dusk Till Dawn. Bascially stay away!!
Great

Loved this place. Two of the staff especially april and rachel were lovely. The hotel would be nothing without them. They are a great asset to the hotel. Will have to return sometime soon.

The friendliest place I have ever stayed. Great service, nothing too much trouble. Food excellent. 15 minutes from town centre, but you dont need to leave hotel as everything is there.
I'd definitely come back again

This is great inexpensive hotel with friendly staff, great food reasonably priced! Music every night. Don't forget to check out the session on Monday night! Great location, quiet, clean and I doubt I could have done any better. The locals are friendly. You will feel like one of the regulars in no time at all. Dont forget to visit the gravedigger's pub nearby.
Awful Rooms

Showers had no hot water, no bulbs in the lights. Rooms are the worst that I ever stayed in.
Highly recommended !

A proper Irish Hotel !!!!!!!!!
Excellent , value for money food .
Great entertainment .
I took my 75 year old parents on their first break to Ireland - and they loved it!
Not a hotel for the luxury tourist - but if you want a proper taste of Irish hospitality - it's here !!!!
