Staff are not the best, one person drinking on the desk, bed clothes had holes and stains, staff broke glass at the entrace to toilet and never cleaned it up. The rooms stinks like crazy, toilet never flushed right, and breakfast half cooked. I could write a book on how awful it was. I go to many hotels around Dublin, this was the worst I have ever seen.

We have stayed at the sunny bank lots of times so many I can't remember it is for us the only hotel in Dublin fantastic food traditional music. And great friendly staff who will do anything for you nothing is to much trouble to them and so reasonably priced you just can't believe it and easy access to the city centre by bus taxi or only a short walk. Congratulations on a great win at the rugby over England at Croke park truly a historical occasion to which all Ireland should be justifiably proud.

The staff have been entertaining us for four year I would recommend this hotel to everybody. The food is great, the entertainments ok, must stay Monday night for traditional Irish music. One complaint, they don't sell Morgan's spiced. See you all in May.

Me and my friends have been going to the sunnybank every May for 4 years. The staff are ALL wonderful and make our stay as good as it could be! The rooms are lovely and the food is great but you do need a good sense of humour! I think it warrants 4 stars easily. If you go to Dublin you must try it! See you in May 2007.

Hotel facilities were plentiful, with Hotel being just 5 minute walk away from the National Botanic Gardens, 10 mins from City Centre. Hotel had live entertainment (weekends) Also had a wide variety of breakfast to suit all tastebuds.
