Accommodation services knocked on my door at 7.50 am and entered the room
At checkout I was asked for an extra 7 for car parking. I refused to pay, as this was not quoted in advance. The Manager was aggressive and arrogant and would not release the vehicle. I contacted the Gardai and the car was then released.
Telephone charges from the room are charged at an excessive premium rate.
Bad experience, I would not recommend or return to this place.

Perfect in every way
from JunenoreenHad a lovely bar meal , prices surpisingly low, before going out to theatre, and a nice drink on our return. Full Irish breakfast very good, room was too, would like to stay there again.
great place to stay

from Daytripper2468loved this hotel
from A TripAdvisor Memberwe stayed at the isaacs in may just the two of us , but it was expensive for four of us so we chose the ripley court it was more superior than the isaac and cheaper.
the bar is so cosy,we ate at the resturant too it was lovely i would reccommend the hotel and look forward to our return soon.
the hotel is in a great location too.

from RosieElaineGreat weekend break
from Princess_GracieThe staff at The Ripley Court were very courtious and helpful. We felt that they went out of their way to make us feel very welcome at the hotel. The location is great too - very central. We look forward to returning to this hotel soon.
Great comfortable place
from A TripAdvisor MemberI had booked a single room but it was large and had a double bed, it was clean and comfortable, there was tv with cable, coffee and tea in the little cupboard under the tv, the hairdryers are also hidden in the drawers, there are toiletries too. The shower was fantastic and powerful.
I wasn't troubled by the dart noise, it's not bad, my room was to the side eventhough I could see it, I was bothered by a super loud person at 5am-8am in the room next door but that could have been in any hotel anywhere!! earplugs are essential in all hotels!!
Just next to the hotel is a supermarket that has great fresh baguettes, paninis, hot food bar and any supplies you may need, it also has a booze department.
Easiest way to find the hotel after a night out is to look for the 'Spire' and you take the road to the left or right (right from Temple Bar) depending which way you are walking from. It's a great location for anything you might be doing in Dublin.
The breakfast is fantastic, basically all you can eat and its the full Irish job... keeps you going for the whole day....... served until 10am, so if you are hungover then you'll miss it, I did once!!
Enjoy it!
What a disapointment
from A TripAdvisor MemberBreakfast was cold each morning, TV in my room didn't work, toilet didnt flush and the staff were downright rude. The Front Desk staff spoke little English and didnt seem to care about my complaints at all. I did ask to speak to the manager but was told that he was on a day off and that there was no one else available to talk to me. I wont be going back.
A Gem!

Airport Bus Take the Airlink bus from the airport to the city centre. It runs every 15 minutes and costs €5.00.Much cheaper than a taxi cab.
Very central This hotel is so well located.
Royal Canal Do walk the Royal canal from the canal's visitor's center all the way down past the Hilton. We lucked out with weather the whole week with only one rain shower. During this walk (about 1 1/2 hours), it was a nice brisk sunny day along the canal. The canal was used in the 19th century to transport goods between Dublin and the Shannon River. The setting is beautiful with numerous locks, bridges, and benches along the way. It's a nice change to the huslte and bustle of O'Connell St and Temple Bar areas.

They denied all knowledge of booking the room even though we had just spoken to them. The receptionist went of to speak with someone else and said that the room had been booked out on the internet and that she had made a mistake. Even though 3mins before she had no idea. The manager then tried to sneak past us until my partner called his attention and stated how disgusting it was to be treated like this. The manager stated it wasn't his problem didn't want to argue and walked of a very rude man...no customer service here!!...after reading the previous review I agree that the manager is rude arrogant and aggressive...we retreated lugagge in hand with no apology...We travelled from Wales and my first experience of Dublin was a let down as a result of this discourteous man.
