Top Local Tips for Dublin
Flying out of Dublin Air Transat always flies into Shannon to refuel, clean the inside of the aircraft, pick up pasengers and load catering. ALL passengers from Dublin have to get off the plane in Shannon, with their cabin luggage. You then get back on again, along with all the others. The stopover is sleighted for one hour. This makes the return trip long and tedious. It took us 13 hours or more, from the time we left our hotel, on the shuttle, until we landed in Toronto. I would try to find an airline that doesn't stopover if you can.
Drinks! After 11pm the drinks go up every 15mins. Just get a couple of rounds in at 10.45pm and keep them on your table :)
