Understaffed, person at reception serving breakfast. Double bed the smallest I've ever seen. Tiny bathroom. No satisfaction from any level of complaint. Very disappointed. Overpriced when you consider the quality of a room rate like Bewleys or Jury's.

This is an ideal place to stay if you want a decent, comfortable room for a couple of nights. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only downside was no cooked breakfast on Sunday's!! Great location - 2 minutes walk to O'Connell St and 10 minutes walk from Temple Bar. Mrs Sharkey the proprietor is a gem she went out of her way to accommodate us. Stayed here again with another group of friends in November.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this small but very clean and tidy guesthouse. Mrs Sharkey, the owner of the house was especially friendly and made us feel very welcome indeed. Extremely good value too. Highly recommended and well situated for all local attractions.

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay in Dublin City, especially pleasing was the lovely quaint facilities at the guest house we stayed at namely the 'Maple Hotel' and the friendly welcome from the owner and staff there. An excellent guest house well worth recommending.

Top Local Tips for Dublin
What to see and do Visit Kilmainham Jail, Guiness Factory, St Stephen's Green Park, Post Office on O'Connell St, 1916 rebelion exhibition at Collins Barracks, Marks & Spencer's rooftop restuarant in Grafton Street (eat outside), Arlington Hotel Irish Show (do not pay for show sit in bar and see it for the cost of a drink). Get 16 or 41 bus to and from Airport for €1.90 single as opposed to Airlink Express bus at €6 or €8 single.
How much?? After stating the destination to your driver, ask how much they journey will cost. Although I can't confirm it, it seems that tourists can be 'bumped' with prices.
