Location is great. In my opinion the following applies: Accommodation was well below what I had expected for such an establishment, i.e, kitchen utensils non existant or bordering on sparse/cleaning of room was debatable i.e, the bathroom basin didn't look like a cloth had been near it, and as for hoovering the room ....say no more! I would NOT go there again or recommend it to anyone else.

Top Local Tips for Dublin

pulic transport not up to european standards ireland just isn't up to european standards when it comes to public transport. the best is the recently introduced LUAS light rail system between st stephens green to south of dublin (sandyford ind estate) and soon to extend as far as cherrywood, also line between north city centre and tallaght. best bus service could be 46a, good bus corridor from city centre via donnybrook/stillorgan to dun laoghaire, good late bus service (nightlink) especially weekends to many parts from city centre, check first and plan your night, it's a lot cheaper than taxis. there is a rail link (DART) between city to south city as far as greystones(wicklow) and to north dublin as far as sutton i think, it's fairly reliable and quick. unfortunately you really have to plan your travel, it's no as frequent or as fast and is generally acceptable that it's gonna arrive/depart late regardless of what type you chose. there's a certain amount of anger on the roads possibly due to the frustration of chronic congestion.
