The Hotel's plumbing was awful. The toilet in our room required roughly 20 minutes to flush before one could successfully flush it again: NOT good for a family. Management offered us another room upon arrival, but it had the same issue. This was unacceptable given the price of the lodging.
The beds had pillows, comforters and mattress covers, but lacked sheets whereby one could adjust their body temperature at night.
The bathtub had paint that was both peeling and peeled.
On the other hand, it is well-located, near Grafton Street and the front-desk and bell-staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

On the plus side this hotel is very conveniently located. I am usually doing work at the National Museum, and it is a 5 minute walk there, as well as to places such as Grafton Street and Stephen's Green. The rooms are fine, not exactly luxurious, but then given the price I wasn't expecting luxury. And the price was very reasonable for Dublin. My main complaint is that the rooms are totally porous to outside noise. I've stayed in rooms on both the street side and the inner courtyard. The street noise was very loud, while on the courtyard I could hear individual conversations from the bar below, and that was with the windows and curtains closed. Otherwise, the Georgian is a decent place to stay for the money.
