Staff are really friendly from management down to house keepers. As far as value for money goes it would be difficult to do better. Food was excellent and the room very comfortable and clean. I think this hotel has standards equal to some 4 star hotels in which I have stayed.

The only thing I can say in favour of this hotel is that it is in a prime location. Had to leave after only one night owing to excessive noise from music directly under the rooms also lack of lift. In need of renovation as rooms scruffy and electrics decidedly dodgy. Would not recommend this hotel.
Comfortable and central

Stayed here for two nights in February (the coldest night for ages - but the room was really warm). Location is great for bars/shops/museums etc. Full Irish breakfast not always included in package but well worth the 6 euros. Rooms to rear of hotel quiet. Pleasant staff.
Negatives: Horrid view of car park at rear, Woken by a loud generator starting up at 8.30

The hotel is in an excellent location. We booked a double room and we're given one with a single and double bed. The room was clean with a good sized bathroom. Overall the hotel could do with re-decorating but the staff were very nice and a good atmosphere in the bar. The bonus was an Irish band on Saturday night who were excellent.

The Earl of Kildare hotel is in an excellent location, close to the National Gallery, National Museum, shops and buses. My room (big for a single, small for a double) was quiet, facing into an internal courtyard, and I couldn't hear the disco that was on that night. Rooms at the front might have some traffic noise. Overall very good value given its city centre location; I got a discount from the tourist office website. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel from the 20th January to the 23rd the hotel was fine the staff were very nice. The only downside was the hotel did not have a lift. We were 2 floors up and had to walk up and down we would go back to this hotel if we go back to Dublin.
My cool4cats time at the hotel!!

Temple Bar A great place to visit on a boozy night out and a definate must, but watch the pennies!! At a steep 15 euros for two drinks it can get a bit pricey. We stayed for a few, had a wander round, took in the sights and then found a wee little Irish pub with proper traditional Irish music and decent prices and it was fab!!
