This was the first time as a group from work that we have been away. We found this hotel on the net and when we rang to book the staff were really friendly and helpful. As this was a budget holiday, we were really pleased with the standard of the accomodation. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff couldn't do enough for us all hours of the day and night!! We would definitley go back again.

A friend and I found this place on the internet and phoned up to book. The staff were really lovely and helpful, even ordered plain rice from the chinese down the road for my friend who was ill. The decor is quite dated but it was very clean. My only real complaint would be that the bathroom we had was tiny, you could barely get dressed in it without banging something. Very easy walk into town and Temple Street.

Top Local Tips for Dublin

Making the most of the buses The return trip to the airport costs 3.40 euros on the Dublin Bus. The open top bus tours are great for getting around the city and they are every 10 minutes. Its good fun getting on and off different buses. The buses have guided commentaries given by the bus drivers. The commentary is basically the same but each driver tends to put their own spin on the tale which is most entertaining. Riding down O Connell St at 9.45am on a sunny morning on the top front deck of an open topped bus with the driver "singing " Danny Boy " at the top of his voice was an experience not to be missed !!!

Wonderful walking tour If you are interested in Irish history, or proud of your Irish heritage, as I am, you will enjoy the 1916 Easter Rebellion walking tour. A breathtaking account into the uprising on Easter Monday, 1916, that eventually led to Irish independence in the following years.
