For what it's worth, this is a basic hotel that could not better. Everything is done to keep costs at the minimum and sometimes it clearly shows e.g. simple things like trying to get the waitress' attraction to order a drink, IMPOSSIBLE! This is the trouble with a hotel that has no real competition nearby.

I have stayed in many hotels & I have to say that this hotel is one of the worst for the way that the staff treat the guests! The hotel its self is lovely & the price very good but to treat guests like they are 12 yrs of age is ridiculious. To throw someone out for spilling a drink & telling people to go back to their own rooms when we were only smoking a fag because we couldn't in our own room because they had no smoking rooms available even though we had booked smoking rooms in the first place! The female manger could do with getting a course on some people skills & not grab someone by their clothes & shout at them to get out!No bar open @12.30 on a sat nite... cigarette machine not working & no ice,Porters coming into peoples rooms checking them is SO not on, afterall we are adults & have paid for the room!Not impressed! Being accused of not paying for a room when we paid @ check in! OBVIOUSLY wont be staying at that hotel EVER again!!!!!!

With 3 children under 6, hotels are sometimes hard work. Had stayed in the other Dublin Bewley's before, but Leoaprdstown is now my favourite - comfy duvets, free internet in the room, and the breakfast service really works with children - no waiting, and reasonably priced.

Love this place - free internet in the rooms - always clean, big rooms, comfy duvet, and relaxed/helful staff.
