a very pleasant weekend in abbey !!!!

have just spent past 2 days and nights in the abbey,and couldnt praise the hotel staff enough!!on arrival,reception staff were so pleasant,geraldine being one of the names i remember!room was more than clean and the meals were absolutely fantastic. the singer in the bar on saturday night was a very talented englishman,who was superb!!there wasnt any noise from the "party animals"in the nightclub. and i would have no hesitation in returning again to this lovely hotel.

Just a short note to say thank u for your kindness and help shown to us on your stay recently, u all are a credit to the abbey management, a special thanks must go to Patricia (as your boss said to us on leaving that you are the face of the abbey) must sign off now, once again thanks to all and hope to c u all in the new year. Top Local Tips for Donegal

Live Music Bar There's a small bar on the edge of the bridge called The Reel Inn. Any musician can take along their instrument to play & everyone can join in the singing. Drinks are slightly cheaper there & everyone is incredibly friendly. A very basic interior - what you'd call a 'real old-fashioned pub'. I'd love to have a pub like this on my doorstep. We went for our last 2 nights but would have been there all 4 nights if we'd known of it at the beginning of our visit.

Donegal Waterbus Try to have a trip if you can, a very pleasant and informative trip around the bay.

get de kids inta it my children love donegal from collecting perry winkles ta mussels flying a kite on de beach ta doing baked potates in a fire there are lots of restarants to chose from de salmon leap the foods great in de abbey and even though ive a special place of me own up in donegal its nice to be pampered in de abbey. Now i choise to change my format of talk. I can identify with the running of the abbey and although i must admit i am very irish to the bone i feel that it is important that we keep our culture while accepting change and in my own buisness ive thrived because i know the balance and reconise it when i see it i hope this balance is always kept at the abbey.I have wonderful memores whilst staying at the abbey with family and friends i do hope they keep this standard up as it would be thweir downfall i believe if they didnt yours sincerly from de owner of leprechaun lodge!
