We had to go to Ireland for a funeral and booked a familyroom at the Lynch Green Isle hotel for 6 nights. The room was a dissapointment. Looked kind of 'shabby'. TV didn't work properly and there was no remote control. Blowdryer didn't work. After taking a shower the bathroom was a mess (water everywhere). The bath was too small and not deep enough for an adult (perfect though for our 5-year old). For use of the swimmingpool we had to pay peakrates of Euro 4,- p.p. and we had to buy swimmingcaps. The hotel is frequently used for parties. We witnessed a few anyway. People were smoking outside, right under our window, making a lot of noise until 03.00 AM. Suggestion : create a smokingarea someplace inside the building. Some positive things : housekeeping is great. At the reception food & beverages are available at all times. Nevertheless, we won't come back and won't recommend the hotel to family & friends.
