stayed recently while home and had a very enjoyable stay, it is a real cosy family run hotel.they are always trying to make that extra little bit of effort to please, which is lacking in all the other cold hotels. the food was exceptional and reasonable and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

I didn't like this hotel at all, although the staff were great (barmaid was lovely) food was good. Everything else was bad, the rooms are straight out of the 80's and need a revamp, while clean they are badly maintained badly decorated, small, noisy, ridiculously serviced, always either too cold or hot, some safety issues with sockets. I made the laughable mistake of asking for internet access....was directed to the local library! It was just sub-standard all round and the price for all this CRAZY, but it's the only hotel in the area so I was stuck, will sleep in my car next time!!

Pathetic hotel, nothing to offer except the kindness of the staff..... roof was leaking, I didnt think these type of places still existed, no atmosphere, poor quality all round and ridiculously priced.... changed to a locl b+b on following day what a relief much better.

I stayed at the hotel recently and had a lovely relaxing weekend, there was a warm welcoming atmosphere as you would expect in the west of ireland, the drink and pub grub was good for the price and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there! A nice break from the city, its more like ireland!!!
