Bank holiday weekend. We paid 120 for the room which was ok but the room provided was more like a hostel that a hotel. Dirty carpets and a musty smell. We decided not to stay shortly after arriving but we had to pay in advance before seeing the room and a refund would not be given.The staff were not friendly and very condescending. In the end we were given another room which was very average.
Stay somewhere else if you can!

We arrived at hotel approx 10pm to book in. Receptionist very pleasant and helpful and we went to our room , very clean and comfortally warm, we hadnt to leave the hotel because we were allowed free adm to music which was just great for a one man show, bar staff friendly.
We were asked if we wanted tea and toast before retiring to bed.
Breakfast very good and hot, lady serving us was friendly and dining area was nice and fresh.
Overall impressed with our visit would definitely go back again.

It was our first time to visit the Maghery and we were plesantly surprised because normally we stay in one of the hotels on the main street at double the cost. Food not nearly as good, our bed was very comfortable, the room was warm. We didn't have to leave the hotel during our stay because entertainment was included in the price and there were made sandwiches compliments of the hotel before we went to bed, now what better service could you get. We certainly will be returning and bringing some friends with us. Word of mouth is very powerful advertising.

My partner and I went for Sunday dinner. Staff slow in coming to take order for dinner. Were more interested in standing watching television. Dinner took ages to arrive and was nearly cold. Presentation was terrible. Still hungry when we had meal as amount served for an adult meal was measly. Very poor for amount charged. Would not go back for a meal could have made better at home.
