My colleague and I stayed at the Munster Arms Hotel in Bandon last year. Sorry with such a late reivew. I am now searching for accommodation in the Bandon area and came across this website. We asked for a quiet room as we realised after booking that there was a night club in the hotel. We were kept awake until the early hours with music and worse still when the drunken crowds left the club, they stood in the street screaming, singing etc... Dont get me wrong, I like to party also, but the hotel did nothing to stop the noise, despite my deparate phone calls to reception at 3am.

We were both their working in the area and had to get up at 6am to do a days work. Worse still we had two nights booked and the same thing happened the next night. After the first night I complained at reception in person to be told this would not happen again and that our next night sleep would not be disturbed. The same shambolic racket went on the next night. On checking out I was absoultely exhausted and furious as we had to work another full day without sleep.

I asked to speak to the Manager who was in the hotel but would not him or herself available to talk to me. They simply sent a message via the receptionist that there would be no discount whatsoever for the diablolic stay we endured.

I will never stay at this hotel ever again, I would rather sleep on the street (it would be quieter)
