Blue Lagoon The Blue Lagoon is a must if you visit Iceland and Reykiavik and I would recommend arranging a visit on your way from or to the airport. We were picked up at the airport and transported to the Blue Lagoon and then transported to our hotel from there. It was agreat way to start our visit and saved some time. Buy your tickets for the lagoon and transportation in advance. You won't regret it! Also try their skin products. amazing results from a body lotion or moisturizer. Great gifts!!!

Check out the opera They take great pride in their singers in Iceland. The opera is small but very fine and there are usually tickets available--a great evening out after a day of outdoor adventure.

Whale watching If you go whale watching go to the front of the boat when you board for the best views as this area gets crowded once there's some activity spotted when you're out.
