Best Luxury Hotel In Budapest
from vipers2314Let's say it from the beginning , it's a 5+1 Star Hotel , The Highest rated Hotel in Budapest so dont expect to find a Good Deal Price as even the Best Deals are Still High . Everything in it is also very expensive too so no reason to blame the Hotel if you choosed to stay there .
I arrived very late at night and was really pleased to see someone waiting for me outside to take my baggage and later take them directly to my room . I checked in , then decided to join my girlfriend wich was waiting for me in the Corvinus Bar , and about 10 min later i received a call from abroad . They knew and remenbered my name , even though the caller didnt know yet my room number , so they sent someone to tell me * Mr ... * you have a call . This was the first hour so i knew what i would expect at this Hotel .
Then i went to see the room . You use your Card Key to open the Door then you put it inside so you can be able to switch on everything in the room ( Lights , TV , Electricity .... ) . When the lights were turned on i was really satisfied . We took a Standard Room and i can tell you it's more than enough for two . I can imagine How The Deluxe Look like . The Room was big and comfortable with plenty of space . You have A Desk , Chair , Small Sofa with Small resting support for your legs . The TV is inside a Big Armor , where you have also the Fridge under , with the Mini Bar .
The Bathrooms can be described by one word : Splendid . If i am going to go to this Hotel again it's due to their Bathrooms . Spacious ,Very Luxurious Marble , Large Bath , Bath Tube , Floor Heating , Hair Dryer , and Even a Phone ( The Room had Three Lines ) . The Shower is so powerfull and nice .
Mini-Bar Prices Are extremly expensive so pay attention of what you take , tempation is really high as they have delicous things ( 850 F for a Coke while u can have it outside for less than 200 ) We payed 15.000 Forints ( 65 Euros ) and we didnt take nothing much .
You have a satelite TV with Free Channels But the Surprise was that you have Pay TV too if you decide to watch movies they show or listen to Music ( Expensive Prices as always , goes as much as the price of buying the DVD ) We tried to listen to an Album but was surprised that once started , you can't playback any music or even forward it , so you have to wait till it finsih . You can pause it thought . It was 1800 F ( 8 Euros ) . But all this is Optional and no need to try them .
The Buffet Breakfast is exceptional , served from 6 till 10h30 . The Best Breakfast in Town . Rewarded many times at the best breakfast in Budapest . You have Very Big Choices , and you can easily find foods you like . We had it included in the Room Rate , if not you will have to pay 27 Euros per persoon for it , so i recommend you eat somewhere else . Enjoy and eat as much as u can .
The Spa newly opened is Great . You have free access .Maybe the Only minus is the size of the Swimming pool , wich can be little bigger but still is lovely . The Saunas and Steam Area is amazing , ty it yourself . Gym Room is small like in nearly all Hotels a downside too . A Big variety of treatments , very expensive too . Wanted to try but was fully BOOKED .
4 Big and fast elevators wich makes it easier and quicker to go wherever you want . I was surprised by how busy the Hotel was during my stay . I can say maybe it was more than 80-90 % Booked .
The Reception Staff are the best , smiley , polite and helpfull at any time .
Location of the Hotel is Very Good Too , next to it is Le Meridien ( Was surprised of how close it was , maybe 5-10 meters separate the two )
Very Close Metro Station , 10 Min Walk to the Danube and major shopping and recreational area .
Visited most High Class Hotels There , and Would say That the Kempinski is the Best . Even The New Four Season dont compare , which i found very classical especially the Entance . And it's Prices are much more expensive then Kempinski . Maybe a Close Second would be The Hilton in the Castle District For it's superb Location .
Would Highly Recommend Kempisnki for the luxury traveler seeking the Best . It's Location , Design , Proffesional Staff , Rooms , Breakfast are unbeatable
Worth considering

Budapest is not what you think Budapest is beautiful city, even though most of the tourist books don't seem to like it. Crime was not rampant, as we had been told, and the people were warm and friendly. Don't miss the Gelhert Baths at the Gelhert Hotel, Heroes Square and the Museum of Terror. Some of the avenues look like Paris. The view from the castle hill is spectacular. There are lots of American restaurants if you don't like Hungarian food.
Bike tour We used a company called Yellow Zebra bikes to do a half day trip round Budapest. It was a great way to see the city and the guide spoke excellent English and we really felt we saw virtually everything Budapest had to offer.
take a tour on the first day there, you should take a day tour, you will see everything the city has to offer. you will be able to go anywhere you want without feeling a little lost or confused.
