We stayed at the Rubin over New Year's and had a very pleasant stay. It should be pointed out that despite descriptions of the hotel being located in a green suburb, the front actually faces a busy main road which can be fairly noisy. That said, transport links to central areas were plentiful. The only downsides to our stay would be location and the sometimes patchy buffet breakfast. However, looking at various information before we booked, we got more than we were expecting in terms of room quality, service and facilities. Seeing as the hotel is also sold as a conference centre, it is fair to say that facilities are more geared towards business use, but this is obvious when reading any information about the place. We were upgraded to a suite with an additional sitting room on arrival which was a very nice surprise! The 'Wellness Centre' offered a swimming pool, jacuzzi and various saunas for no extra charge and we were also offered free ten pin bowling! On the whole the......
