Named after the Waldorf Astoria in New York-What a shame that most staff don't know the meaning of customer service. Room service finishes at 11pm!! Majority of staff very miserable. On my last day at breakfast the restaurant ran out of bacon!! Refurbished rooms very nice.

I think you could put a little investment in the decoration of the upstairs landings and ceilings.
I doubt whether you ceilings which look flammable comply with EU regs.
Otherwise I think your hotel in well price - charming and very central.
Your staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.
Perhaps the bedrooms, as your economy grows could be a little more voluptuous to match the downstairs image, but do not get to expensive - there are a lot of hotels in Budapest.

Metro-check your change Check your change at Kalvin Terr station ticket office. The lady was ever so helpful in answering a question I had but also pocketed 5000 forints (12 pounds) of my change, suddenly losing the power to speak English when queried.
