OTHERWISE WE FOUND NICE ROOM AND VERY NICE PEOPLE AT THE FRONT DESK. BREAKFAST VERY GOOD.

We spent 3 days in this hotel in March, and I have to say, I would not hesitate to stay there again. The location was just ideal, and everything we wanted to see or do was accessible on foot. The room was clean and perhaps a bit characterless, and there was no view. Saying that, the breakfast, impressive dining room and exceptionally helpful staff more than made up for this.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a pleasant break in Budapest. Excellent!

Small But Nice ( Would Stay There Again)

Not much to look at when you fist arrive but when entering the room it was brilliant, right outside was the bridge crossing the Danube which we walked over every night Don't eat in the restaurant its to expensive for what you get there's nice restaurants round about Have traveled Europe extensively and found BUDAPEST terrific. VICTOR.

get the Budapest 3-day experience tickets these tickets (not sure the name is exact) give you 20% discount to tourist venues and free travel on public transport for 3 days - worth every cent.

Fatal Restaurant, just off Vaci Utca, near the market hall Enormous portions, lovely food, and it might be fatal if you manage to finish it all! Good price, excellent service and lovely atmospheric cellar.

getting round the city make sure you get a one or three day pass for all puplic transport in budapest.its about 15 euros for three days and it makes sure you dont get fined for not having a valid ticket.i have never been anywhere else where their as zealous as here on checking your tickets
