I know I'm submitting this review nearly 2 years after I visited the hotel but felt I had to say something as there wasn't a review on this site. This was a very good hotel for the price we paid. We were self-catering and the kitchen equipment was shabby. Fridge was broken when we arrived but after talking to reception it was fixed within a couple of hours (prob just a fuse or something). The cleaners had a habit of leaving the balcony door open after they'd cleaned which I didn't like. But that's the end of the negatives. The hotel is in a brilliant position with only the bar/restaurant between the pool area and the beach. Staff very friendly. If you go to the beachside bar regularly they get to know your face and are very chatty. A real ten-minute walk (no kid-on) gets you to the main strips of either Tsilivi or Planos (the two seem to join together just at the access road for this hotel). Plenty of lively bars and a couple of clubs for the younger or youngish people. Lovely restaurants for the diners (avoid the Chinese/Indian restaurants though, stick to the Greek/Italian/European places). Plenty of places nearby for lovely breakfasts. The beach and main pool are very child-friendly. Lots of sunbeds to go round. It was so good I recommended it to my 19 year-old nephew and his girlfriend in 2007 and they are going back again this year. If you go for the island cruise, go for the company that has the triple-deck white boat. The red boats look a bit shabby when you get close-up. I have no problem recommending this hotel and this resort.
