My GF and I were ther last year. This hotel is OK. Near are stors, bars, beach.
It's good that rooms have air condition. Only think I can complain about is the broken TV. They didn't manage to repair the TV in 5 days!

Just back from two weeks at the Mediterranee hotel - rooms at the back of hotel are the best good value in summer as get free air conditioning go half board meals great at the Med Grill- book Hotel direct and save big money. If you choose to eat out at a good restaurant try Galini's greek taverna across from the Kaliva Bar. Harry at Galini's is a cockney greek with a brilliant sense of humour, he will make you feel at home, give him some notice and he will make you what ever you want.

Top Local Tips for Zakynthos

TSILIVI - Get the most out of it! Do the Island boat trip - great views, great experience but hectic - its long day so not for little uns or those who dont like boats full of fellow Europeans. Eat Greek - fresh, healthy and tasty. Dionisyus In Tsilivi is lovely. Move away from the crows walk an extra 20 minutes or so down the main beach and shorkel amongst the rock with the curious coloured fishes. Or better still hire a car and go off the beaten track - its a beautiful island don't spend your whole time sat by the pool!

Travelling We had very strange flight times which although were well catered for, left us very tired so check the flights and try and only do one way through the night!!

Good Reastaurants There are lots of really good retaurants in the resort of Tsilivi. Some of these are: The Med Grill; Giorgios; Zeus Taverna; Athena Restaurant; and the Olive Garden Reastaurant
