We returned to this hotel for a 10 day stay, the hotel has been refurbished and I must say is fantastic. The rooms are better than before. This couldnt change as it was excellent before. The breakfast is great as they now do bacon and eggs on some mornings. there is always plenty to eat. this was our second time to this hotel and will not be the last.

Went to Contessina in may last year had a great time everybody friendly the rooms spotless, the pool was great, the Contessina is only a short walk away from the beach and the local bars and restaurants, we loved the two brothers bar who also made you feel like long lost friends, are booking up for May 08 and can't wait.

Top Local Tips for Zakynthos

Seeing the Island A jeep safari is a great way to see the island. We booked ours through a local agent in Tsilivi and paid 36 euros per head rather than the 55 euros per head that the travel agent wanted to charge. The operator was reliable, fun and informative.

best food We loved Romios and the Olive Tree - fantastic food everytime

Dining out choice The different places to eat and drink in Tsilivi are that numerous and has a restaurant to suit every bodies different tastes of cuisine and plenty of late night entertainment to keep every age happy.The food is nice and very tasty. We tried a different one every night and was never let downonce by the service or quality.
